You Might Be a Coach's Wife If...

Jeff Foxworthy is famous for his "You Might Be a Redneck If" jokes. Similarly, the Wayans Brothers are known for their "You Know You're Ghetto If" jokes. Well, we all know there are things that are common among coaches wives...you know, stuff that the typical wife is not likely to experience. Here's the place to reflect on those situations. Feel free to post your humorous and not-so-humorous experiences.

Learning how to Lose

I think I've realized why this is hard or me..... In the 22 years I've known my husband, either as a friend, and then as a couple, he has never had a losing season.... And now that he isn't on the floor with the ability to affect the outcome, I am so much more stressed by wins and losses. On the one hand, this is purely selfish, I need him to get, and he really wants, a full assistant position, but on the other hand, how do you handle when a team does almost everything right, but still can't…See More

Stress Addicted Diary - Bite Tongue and Smile

This is our first year at this university.  We are just under 500.  Because I'm competitive, losing pretty much sucks.  So, I'm sitting at a road game and we are getting our butts kicked.  I'm upset, but a master at hiding my emotions and just look like I'm really focusing on the game.  Security comes and tells us that fans are complaining and that our kids have to sit in the seats instead of on the floor in front of their seats to color.  I could be wrong, but because our kids were being…See More
